The cheeky vegan menu that’s made $ 100m 🍴
Five years ago, Pinky Cole was fired from her job. Though crushed and nurturing a bruised ego, she quickly saw this turn of events as an opening to pursue her side gig full time.
In an interview with CNBC Make It (and with the wisdom of hindsight), Cole described getting fired as one of the greatest things that could have happened to her, as it pushed her to commit herself completely to her own business: Sl*tty Vegan. 🌿
In just a few years, the value of her vegan hamburger chain has reached $ 100m. It’s also opened in 11 locations including New York and Texas, and has expanded its offerings to include plant-based hot dogs and chick’n tenders. 🌭
Despite becoming successful so swiftly, Cole still calls herself “an expert in failure”, a nod to not just overcoming obstacles but also extracting strength from them.
