Etsy side hustle brings in $ 100k a month

In April 2020, Cassiy Johnson was furloughed from her daycare salesperson job. Looking for something to do, she started an Etsy shop where she sold T-shirts featuring her own designs. A few months later, in fall, her online side hustle earned her $ 30k over a 2-month period. 💰

Although she was able to find another salesperson role, Cassiy continued to spend around 30 minutes a day on her Etsy shop. But her designs were such a hit that, within a year, she decided to run the online business full time. As of 2023, Cassiy's Etsy shop brings in up to $ 101k a month.

The secret to this successful outcome? Lots of research! Cassiy does a deep dive on Etsy and a few social media platforms once a month, getting up to speed with the latest trends and seeing what’s selling well. She also takes inspiration from physical stores she visits. 📝

Dress to impress at your next interview 👗

Got an important interview coming up? Not sure what to wear?

These outfit tips will come in handy:

• Choose neutral colors. Black, gray and navy are safe, professional and versatile.

• Dress for the job. Choose formal attire for corporate jobs, but casual attire for creative jobs.

• Keep accessories to a minimum. This includes things like ring, bracelets, watches and hair pins.
